GE May Spin off Appliance/Lighting Unit to Current Shareholders
Louisville, KY is planning to offer an attractive package to retain the global headquarters.

GE announced it's considering spinning off its Consumer and Industrial businesses, which includes appliances, lighting and industrial, to current GE shareholders.
