Trouble with Summa Winplot software

Hi there - I just downloaded Summa WinPlot 6.76 for Windows - when I launch it in XP I get an erorr:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Rutime Error!
Program: C:Program FilesSummaWinPlotWinPlot.exe
abnormal program termination

I've uninstalled and reinstalled a couple times now.

Anyone else having this issue?

Thanks!

Gabe

perhaps you have an old version or it's corrupt... why winplot does not install an updated version I do not know.

Hey Dan, good to hear from you - I researched the printer extensively (thanks again for your help with that) - suddenly our vinyl business tapered off pretty quickly and we started pursuing the design end of the business more and more.

When I search my system for msvcp60.dll I see that it appears in a few different locations:

c:windowssystem32
c:program filesadobeadobe photoshop cs2
c:windowsservicepackfilesi386
c:windowswinsxsx86_microsoft.tools.visualcplusplus.runtime-libraries_6595b64144ccf1df_6.0.0.0_x-ww_ff9986d7
c:program filescomon filesmicrosoft sharedweb folders
c:program filesadobeadobe illustrator cs2support filescontentswindows

Which location should I update and where can I get a current version of that file to overwrite my copy with?

Thanks for your help!
