More Help with Sign Faces.

Hey, thanks very much for all those that helped out with my previos post about stubborn graphics on an old sign face.

I've decided to go with new faces. I'm forced to use two panels, due to the fact that the box is 14'. I remember, in past shops, just butting the two panels up, without a "lap joint" or bevel, etc. Is this a bad idea, or does it work? The sign is less than 3ft high.

Any advice, once again, is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Anonymous says: Great point Stan. Lexan is somewhat pricey, but there are also modified acrylics that come in roll form too. I've never been a fan of joining two pieces when you can do it with one. posted on: Thu, 09/16/2004 - 9:47am
