Objective:
38+ years Sign Professional is looking to refocus and secure a position with an established full service sign company specializing in the design, engineering and manufacturing of on premise signage, electronic message displays and general branding of all products. Ideal company should be focused on the clients needs while being progressively structured
Position Preferred:
Sales & Account Management, Project Coordinator, Project Estimator, Engineering or Design.
Qualifications and Abilities:
30+ years of Sign Experience in all phases of the electric sign business, 18 years in sales, project management with Federally funded, large corporations and local clients.
Experienced in all types of sales, on premise branding displays, electronic displays, architectural and other.
Experienced in qualifying the clients budget and needs to finalize the sale with minimum revisions.
Experienced in high volume sales and getting familiar with the main area developers.
Experienced sign designer and structural engineer for 14 years
Experienced estimator.
Experienced in sign manufacturing in house from small to large complex projects, and the installation with crane trucks. This has involved vinyl graphics, faces, manufacturing and engineering of sign frames, welding, skinning, electrical, painting, loading and installing, along with crane operation.
Experienced in knowing the cities, counties and sign codes and pulling sign permits.
Excellent communication skills, computer, contractual, written and verbal.
Proficient in: Coreldraw 14 / flat on & perspective, Autocad, Excel, Wordperfect, MS Word, Electronic Message Center software and have a laptop to take on sales trips for designs with out of town clients.
Currently I live near Salt Lake City in Utah and would prefer not to relocate but if the opportunity was right to meet the companies goals I would consider it. For most of my sales career I have worked out of a home office where I can prospect or design as needed while attending sales meetings as required at the company. Overnight travel would not be a problem.
