Colorlights(Geographics) sign

I bought a used Geographics model GEO4000E LED moving message sign. Supposedly it is programmable via Keyboard RC200 or via RS232 cable CB7001. I have no manual or software for the sign. I did hook the sign up to my PC with a null modem cable and hyperterminal, and all I managed to accomplish was to get the sign to beep at me. Does anyone know where I can get a manual or software?

Thanks,
Marty

I think this sign may be made by the same company that made color cells signs because there is a note on the label that says "made under license to real color displays, inc. If anyone has the software for any color cells sign please send it to mmunizza@dca.net

Ugh. This sort of thing happens to me all the time. Doesn't matter if it's led sign / work related, or just at home.

Once a year, we use the DVD player to play this Christmas movie, and I can't ever figure out how to turn off the subtitles. Argh :)

I too have a GEO4000e but no manual and no handheld. On the other hand I do have a RS-232 cable and the 2 diskette software. I can send a message, but I don't get a response. The cable is correct but I am not getting any readout. Any hints would be quite nice.
