We did a survey for CSC Sign Corp, Fl Division out of Orlando, Fl for a Jim/Sandy Galvin and have never received payment. They do not return calls nor answer to any messges, e mails, mailings.
Anyone have a similar dealing with them?
Sure makes you leary of doing surveys for other companies! Normally we do not, made an exception and now we have been burned.
Thank you for confirming what I had feared. This survey had gotten past me before I could question who in the blazes the were. Sounds as if we are out our cost. Hopefully, he will go back under the rock he came out of!
He took the hotel owners money, which is a great customer of mine, and did not complete all of the work either. The more I research this guy the more of a crook I find that he is. I didn't know you could use a PO Box on your drivers license. He gave a false address to the state for his business license. God will take care of this guy.

We know several people getting ripped off by "Sandy/James Galvin". He has left us hanging with no payment and no installation of a sign for a hotel. DEFINITELY DO NOT DO BUSINESS w/ this guy. Professional con man. I don't mind eating crow when I deserve it, and Sandy Sandy/Jim/James Galvin got me good. Was supposed to pay me $1293.75 for a Guesthouse Inns sign in Gainsville, GA when he arrived to pick it up at my shop. Like a dummy I let the sign go out the door on a handshake with the promise that Acctg. would cut me a check the next day. I live in S.C., so I am not used to people looking me in the eye,shaking my hand, telling me about their family etc..., etc..., and just flat-out lying.
There was no accounting dept., no CSC Sign Corp. There's just Sandy, a website, a cell phone, and that's it. He answers all the e-mails as the AP girl, owner, VP, etc. w/ fictitious names. To hear him tell it, CSC is a huge company that has 180 employees. (I have e-mail correspondence to back all this up.)
One of the Guesthouse Inn owners told me he took another GH Inn franchisee for an $8 grand deposit on a LED sign that was never delivered. GH owner told me he was pursuing litigation against Galvin back in Sept. (2011), but he never followed up with me on the results. THe GH Inn franchisee that got my FREE sign paid Galvin over $ 5 grand for my sign. He didn't have much nice to say about Galvin either. As I said, this guy is a PRO! Steer Clear at all costs!! Comes around, goes around and he's definitely going to run out of luck sooner or later.
this guy came to our Hotel came every day almost and finally we signed agreement with him, gave him deposit to order parts for sign. took deposit of $550.00 and never came back not returning our call now it's been over 3 months. has anyone reported him to police, i am going to report him and also going to call local media and to find out about him.

This guy is bad news.
The first tip-off is the "Florida Division" part of the name. There are no other divisions. There is just Sandy Galvin, sitting at home, acting like he is part of some big, national company.
My experience was a few years ago. He took deposits from customers for signs that were never delivered. Then he disappeared for a while. Sounds like he has re-surfaced.
You are only out the cost of doing a survey for him. The survey subject will probably lose a lot more.
