Dillon Works is currently seeking candidates for the position of Technical Designer/Drafter.
Located 30 minutes north of Seattle, Dillon Works! Inc. has specialized in the design and fabrication of custom dimensional and interactive elements for over two decades. Projects include themed elements and areas within museums, shopping malls, retail venues, amusement parks, casinos, exhibits, displays, restaurants, signage and more.
We are currently looking for a rare combination of technical skills, creative flare and real-world savvy, for our design group. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to develop technical & mechanical design drawings for a diverse assortment of themed entertainment and architectural ornamentation design/build projects.
This unique person will have the ability to design, develop and coordinate the details and specifications of that design with our talented group of fabrication artisans and an assortment outside resources.
You must possess a broad and varied practical knowledge of materials, substrates, fabrication techniques and processes, and be an eager participant in developing new processes. You must also be able to interpret the creative intent and possess the ability to troubleshoot problems with creative solutions and alternatives mid-stream.

Skills
Experience designing custom architectural, environmental and/or theatrical elements using AutoCAD a must. Photoshop and Illustrator experience a plus.
