JNB Signs, Inc. of Janesville, WI has an immediate opening for experienced Graphic Designer / Drafter / CNC Programmer.
Seeking dependable self starter capable of working independently on multiple deadlines & projects.
Duties :
- Layout and design various signs, awnings and lighting project drawings in both CADD and color illustration programs.
- Create conceptual sign renderings, marketing materials, permit drawings.
- Create parts nesting layouts for CNC routing & letter bending machines.
- Order materials and price quotes from multiple vendors for sign projects.
- Work closely with fabrication department on production of signs.
Skills :
- Detail oriented individual with the ability to read, understand & create detailed scale, CADD, architectural & sign presentation drawings.
- General computer literacy, Microsoft Windows, Outlook Express, Internet Explorer, familiar with drawing programs like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CADD, and a understanding of CNC nesting and tool speeds and feeds.
- Mechanically inclined with the understanding of basic construction techniques & materials, welding, sheet metal fabrication, foundations, etc.
- Individual must have excellent math & communication skills, good attitude, attendance, and work ethic.
