Pro Signs, a national leader in the signage industry, is expanding our design team and is in need of a full time Senior Design Engineer with proven industry experience (5-10 years minimum). This candidate will work within a team environment and be responsible for understanding concepts provided by our customers and turning these concepts into designs and detailed production drawings.
The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of product costs and how to reduce these costs as part of the design cycle. This position will be responsible for development and successful outcome of multiple projects, working alongside a talented and diverse group of designers, fabricators, project manager and internal and external resources supporting these efforts.
Requirements:
• A working knowledge and multi-year experience with the
processes and fabrication methodology common to
signage.
• The ability to develop and translate illustrative concepts into
graphic layouts
• A positive, determined attitude, well organized and
energetic
• Superior communication skills, capable of articulating critical
project details to a wide range of recipients and working
collaboratively within the creative team.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Flexi, Corel, Microsoft
Office
• Working knowledge of the process of refining graphic
images for print and cut files
• Ability to create a final artwork for large format digital
printing
• Ability to multi task any number of project assignments at
any given time with defined client deadlines
