Manager, Order Processing & Procurement
Kieffer & Co. Inc., a national sign manufacturer located in Sheboygan, WI has a full-time opportunity for a proactive, energetic individual to manage the operations of the Order Processing, Purchasing, Engineering and CAD departments. Under the supervision of the Vice President of Manufacturing, this manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the activities related to these departments. The successful candidate will have excellent management and leadership skills in order to continually improve processes, performance and efficiency, while supervising the personnel in these departments. This position requires a high level of organizational skill as well as excellent communication skills. A minimum of three years experience in purchasing and negotiating with suppliers and vendors is required. At least three years of experience in a mid-level management position which included supervisory responsibility is also required. Knowledge of job routings, experience with terminology, materials and processes used in the sign industry would be helpful. Engineering and CAD knowledge is a plus. Applicants should have excellent computer skills including MS Office. A Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
