Commercial Sign Manufacturer in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a creative, highly motivated, and self-starter graphic designer for a full time position. As the lead designer, the candidate will be working directly with project managers to create detailed layouts and illustrations of electrical and non-electrical signage. The right person for the job should have at least 3 years of experience in the sign industry, and able to work on multiple projects at a time and switch tasks as needed to meet deadlines. We are looking for a team player with a "can do" attitude and not afraid to go the extra mile to get the job done.
Required Skills:
- Technical degree.
- Proficient in Flexi Sign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe illustrator, and Microsoft Outlook. Shockwave Flash and web design a plus but not necessary.
- Knowledge of importing and exporting files to different formats, scaling pictures and superimposing drawings in pictures.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of following instructions and directives.
Duties and responsibilities
- Develop detailed scaled drawings.
- Output files for CNC production and/or vinyl cutting and digital printing
- Help with production of vinyl signs and digital prints when needed (weeding, masking, trimming, applying).
