Hi res printer & Mutoh printer

I am looking for a high resolution inkjet printer for outdoor application, 720dpi up. I have my eyes on Mutoh Toucan 2.2m. Any recommend?

I do not know what the 2.2m is but I have a Toucan 62". Output is very good. I sold a Arizona 180 to get the Tucan and I could not be happer. The Toucan is a far better printer in every way than a Arizona and the best of all you do not need Onix software to run it. We are runing the machine in a large production facility over 10 hours a day using the Thunderbird rip. With the faster output, lower cost inks and material, better color management, faster data transfer, I think I could have a business selling better looking prints to Arizona users.

We can work with the current Thunderbird rip but you need to know that some features you may expect are comming out with the next version. Also, the machine is new to Mutoh so tech support is questionable and I have some questions if their dealers can really provid the tech support Mutoh expect them to do or if the just slow up the process.

The price tag is about $20k lower than the Toucan and it prints around 200 sq. ft/hr. Pretty good deal. The output is 720 dpi as well...

Some questions regarding your organization (I ask these of any potential printer supplier):

In which countries do you provide local service for the printer?

How will you support the Eastech printer in the U.S., provide parts and timely service if I buy your printer?

Is there a local dealer (within one day's ground shipping) for your printer's inks?

Thanking you in advance for your timely reply.
