Pens for Roland plotters?

Hello,
I recently purchased a Roland plotter and would like
to make pounce patterns for hand lettering.
The pens cost $20.00 plus each!!!!, there must be away to
Jimmy-wrig oneup for pennys?

I need a thrifty idea! :)

Thanks, Kelley

Sharpie..... duhh.... bic works too with some masking tape.

Step by step instructions:
1.) Put down the mary-jane
2.) take a bic or papermate or marker or sharpie or some writting utensil which doesn't dry out too fast and DRY fit it to see how much tape you need to add.
3.) Modify your writting instrument with masking tape for a snug fit.
4.) don't place it to low or touching the writting surface but do place it slightly lower than the cutting blade sits.

Good luck
