I'm a chicagoland firefighter and own a full service sign company in the area. Multiple color door emblems are very common. Some fire departments want reflective, some insist on gold leaf. Either way they want it, the most important thing is to use a very durable overlaminate. The majority of fire service vehicle stay indoors which is great, however they are washed very often sometimes a few times in a day. I have put graphics on over 200 emergency vehicles and print them in house on a solvent printer with matching 3m overlaminate. We have found that this process is the most durable versus liquid lamination, Clearshield, or other. Please call with any questions 708-865 1717 Tony M.
