We recently had a complete failure of the paint on a large sign that we did using Matthews paint. We've used Matthews paint in the past without problems so we were shocked by this one. Matthews is telling us that it was our error (paint coat was too thin, temperature in plant too low) but we're not convinced.
Has anyone else experienced any problems with Matthews paint?

We have had failure with their etch primer and consequently the paint. We made the mistake of trying the product again and now we're looking for a different product. I believe we followed the protocol to the letter but it made no difference.
The strange thing is the red seemed to stick and the black came off in sheets.
