We have lost 2 basket controllers in the last 3 months on our 07 L60 that has less than 500 hours on the truck. They (Elliott dealer we bought the truck from) wants over $600. a pop to replace these and are telling us these go out all the time. We've had problems with the controls in the basket since the 1st job we took the truck out and now of course the warranty has run out. We call Elliott Tech support and they won't return our calls. Any info is appreciated.
Thanks,
Gary
ELLIOTT is a good machine. We have L60's, E40's and 1870's. However when you do have a problem they will brush it along until the warranty is over and then hammer you the full monty for the repair. We have had the same controler problem and many, many others.
Our one 1870 is remote control. A $10,000.00 option. We had remote problems from day one. Now the warranty is over and we are spending $10,000.00 this week to replace the entire remote with a new style remote. ELLIOTT said the original one was problematic and they discontinued using it the same year, but didnt tell me that until now and never offered a penny to correct there bad engineering.
They have forgotten who got them there.
Lets not even talk about the paint and how they rust up the third year
