Let me start by admitting I am brand new to this industry...
A church wants me to install an 8'x8' sign on plywood, which will be mounted on poles with concrete and constructed by them. My thought is to use 2 4'x8' signabond panels and mount digitally printed media to them before mounting to the plywood. My printer is a Rockhopper 38, so I would need to print 3 panels for the job and line them up perfectly.
The church definitely wants to install the plywood first, so I'll just need to install the signboards with the prints premounted.
It seems rather easy, but is there something I need to watch out for that I am not considering? IE, will there be gaps between the panels over time? Or do you have some tricks to help line up the panels? Or perhaps there is a problem with plywood in general?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
