Need to know what symbols are available for different types of rooms. For example is there a pictogram international standard for MAINTENANCE ROOM. What I really want is a clip art gallery of pictograms. Searched and searched and can't find any on the web. Any leads ...?

There are a few sources for free (but incomplete) pictograms.
The organizations AIGA and GAG have some freebies. Then there is the book called "The International Pictograms Standard" one edition has a CD. I lost my bookmark but there is a company that sells a disc (smart Symbols I think) but I can't seem to find it. The book Guidelines for Airport Signing and Graphics has a few different than what is listed. There is a font called FF Transit Pict One-Four at Fontshop.com that has re-interpreted pictograms, but not "standard" to tHe US.

I'm about at my wits end trying to find a source for all the ada symbols. If the government regulates ada, why don't they publish a library of pictos that are approved for ada signage??? And make it easy to find, download and engrave!!!

This has got me felling like an idiot. Like I can't perform a simple search and find what I'm looking for.

Yeah, that's about enough to break me down. I finally found the Disability Access Symbols at gag.org. (above thread) I was all smiles till I saw which whopping twelve symbols were available for free download.

Shoot me now, please...
