New vinyls are lighter, stronger
Value Vinyls (Grand Prairie, TX) is offering improved versions of its 8- and 12-oz. Ad-Flex vinyls. According to the company, the new vinyls are lighter (the 8-oz. model was previously 8.5 oz.), stronger and have increased resistance to cold cracking, which allows for billboard installations at cold temperatures. The reformulated product has higher ink receptiveness than previous models, allowing for higher-quality printing on UV printers, the company says.
The 8- and 12-oz. vinyls are available in black back or white back, matte or gloss finish, and are used for single-sided printing of indoor and outdoor signage.
