Techno Inc. (New Hyde Park, NY) is offering Unist (Grand Rapids, MI) Coolube 2210 fluid for CNC non-ferrous, metal-cutting equipment. The vegetable-based fluid contains no petroleum products and, according to Unist, causes 50% less friction than mineral oils, and has a flashpoint of more then 400° F. The company also offers 2210EP to lubricate machinery that cuts ferrous metals. Unist offers Uni-Max fluid applicators to dispense the material, and produces Coolube in quantities from 2 oz. to 55-gallon drums.
