Sylvania (Danvers, MA) is presenting the HF2 Chain LED module, which boasts a narrow profile and a wide-beam angle that allows uniform illumination of backlit surfaces. The system packages high-flux LED light sources in a flat module to accommodate sleek designs. Each chain comprises 18 metal circuitboards, each with two, high-flux LEDs. Available in a standard version (25 LPW, 110 lm/ft.) or a high-efficiency version (70 LPW, 154 lm/ft.), the module is suitable for channel letters and backlit advertising panels.
Flexible cables enable adjustable luminance. Each chain can be cut every three boards to fit various applications. The module is dimmable by pulse-width modulation to maintain consistent lumen output and color. Circuit boards are conformally coated to protect against dust, moisture and condensation. Rated at 50,000 hours, the product carries a five-year product warranty and a two-year labor warranty.
