The Signage Foundation Inc. (SFI), Washington, D.C., has appointed ST Publisher/Editor Wade Swormstedt to its board of directors. Swormstedt, who’s worked with ST Media Group for 29 years and has served as ST’s publisher/editor since 2001, was named to the board effective June 25 of this year. He’s frequently served as a sign-industry ambassador worldwide, and is part of the fourth generation of his family to publish ST. Ken Von Wald, SFI’s chairman, said “Wade has long been a voice for the sign industry, and his comprehensive perspective aligns well with the Foundation’s research and education initiatives.”
