Whether you create printed vehicle wraps, plotter-cut graphics and magnetic graphics, or apply pinstriping flair or create off-the-wall art cars, you’re invited to display your talents in the 2010 ST Vehicle Graphics Contest. Last year’s competition generated more than 300 entries, and we’re eager to put pedal to metal and accelerate this year's field.
Mutoh is sponsoring the competition, which is in its fourth year.
To encompass the market’s broad spectrum, we’ve created the following categories:
• Handcrafted Vehicles (Handpainted/Gilded/Pinstriped)
• Service Vehicles (produced for a business’ direct use)
• Promotional Vehicles (marketing a product or service)
• Transit Graphics (bus, subway, train, monorail)
• Signshop Vehicles (produced for a shop’s own use)
• Marine Graphics (watercraft vehicles only)
• Unique Vehicles (art cars, appliqués, other unconventional projects)
Entry fee:
$10 per entry (maximum $75 for eight or more submissions)
FTP Site Photo Upload Instructions
To upload project photos to the Signs of the Times Magazine Editorial FTP site, open any browser (Explorer, Netscape, etc.) and type (or copy and paste) in this URL: http://upload.stmediagroup.com
You’ll find simple instructions, once it opens. In the first box, scroll down to select “Signs of the Times -- editorial". The second box allows you to review your file folders for the image you want to send. Please note the instructions at the top of the upload page.
Once you’ve selected your image(s), click on the upload button. If your file successfully uploads, a message window will appear with a link to your file. If your file doesn't upload, you won't see this message window. If you have questions, please contact ST’s Production Manager, Linda Volz, at 800-925-1110, ext. 398.
