Signs take center stage at the North American International Auto Show.

The North American International Auto Show has always been a platform to
display the newest and best thinking in automotive design and engineering. Car manufacturers from around the globe converge in Detroit annually to promote their brands and introduce new technologies to the world. Every car manufacturer from Acura to Volvo is represented here, and their multi-million dollar booths reflect the dynamic nature of their products.
Increasingly, huge, high-resolution video screens and architectural LED walls dominate the show floor. Gorgeous graphics swirl around the new cars to create an irresistible aura of excitement and energy. Of course, these displays are populated by gorgeous models and company spokespeople, but the cars and the signage capture the most attention.
The show is also a barometer for the economy, and the 2010 show was a vast improvement over the 2009 event. Attendance was up by more than 63,000, and optimism was everywhere.
This photo gallery really tells the story. If you are willing to brave the Detroit winter next January, I reccommend attending the show for the signage alone. The cars and models don¹t hurt, either.
