Approximately 5,000 attendees are expected. Show hours will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2 and Thursday, September 3. On Thursday, the show will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In conjunction with the Sign Africa show, the Africa In-Store show will include suppliers and manufacturers of such visual-communication devices as signage, displays, POP, retail design, shopfitting, packaging and indoor/outdoor advertising media.

Dr. Nicholas Hellmuth, a featured speaker, will address wide-format machinery and printing, and digital photography. Hellmuth is the president of FLAAR Digital Imaging Resource Center, a U.S.-based research company.

Promoters state that the South African economy is on the upswing as evidenced by its hosting of the DLF Indian Premier League (cricket) and the upcoming FIFA Confederations Cup (soccer), as well as the world’s biggest sporting event, the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The demands for marketing initiatives will increase exponentially for pre- and post-Cup events.
