Keene Signworx spices up a local eatery.

To be honest, many diners would have a difficult time getting excited about a restaurant that features salads as its primary menu feature. Thus, such establishments require a fresh approach to market themselves, and on-premise signage should, of course, always be part of the equation.
The Keene (NH) Fresh Salad Co. enlisted the help of Keene Signworx proprietor Peter Poanessa to develop tasty, 3-D signage. He fashioned the sign from twin, ¾-in.-thick MDO pieces (which he mounted at 30º angles toward each other) and carved a ½-in. beveled edge before he laminated and encapsulated the panel with MAS epoxy.
The primary copy comprises 1-in.-thick, Sign*Foam® HDU that Poanessa rounded over and finished with 23k goldleaf before mounting the piece to 3mm, Dibond® aluminum-composite backing. Then, he mounted the text panel on a curved Dibond panel that’s shadow-mounted to the main panel. To create the flat, secondary text, Keene Signworx used Arlon high-performance vinyl. For added curb appeal, Poanessa fabricated the radish by hand-shaping HDU with heat-molded Sintra® OVC, which he finished with lettering enamels.
