Roland DGA Corporation Announces Richard Childress Racing Partnership

Roland DGA Corporation (Irvine, CA) is announcing that Welcome, NC-based Richard Childress Racing (RCR), which manages such NASCAR Sprint Cup stars as Kevin Harvick, Jeff Burton and Clint Bowyer, has outfitted its graphics-production facilities with a Roland SolJet Pro III XC-540MT solvent-ink printer and VersaCAMM VS printer/cutter. Both feature Roland’s ECO-SOL MAX inks.

The 54-in.-wide SolJet Pro III XC-540MT offers six-color printing (CMYK, white (W) and metallic silver (Mt)) and prints on vinyl, polyethylene, canvas, paper. It provides a maximum printing resolution of 1,440 x 1,440 dpi. At 360 x 360 dpi, it prints at 441 sq. ft./hr.; at top resolution, it outputs at 31 sq. ft./hr. The VersaCAMM prints at four (CMYK), six (CMYKLcLM) or eight (CMYKLcLmWMt) colors, eight-channel print heads with variable-droplet technology and scratch-resistant 220 or 440 ml cartridges.
