Fire-retardant media engineered for 3-D, POP applications
Pregis Hexacomb (Deerfield, IL) is announcing a fire-retardant version of its Falconboard™ Build graphic-display board. According to the company, it has engineered it to provide a higher level of performance for applications that require fire-resistant material. The material comprises a 100% paper display board with a fire-rated, clay-coated surface, and is engineered for 3-D, POP applications. The company has designed the rigid material for wide-web flexographic and rotogravure printing. The material contains an engineered-paper core and water-based adhesives, and is produced with no CFCs or VOC emissions during the production process, the company reports.
