Nexxus Lighting Inc. (Charlotte, NC) has added Brian J. Scott, general manager for Microsoft’s Health & Life Sciences business in the U.S., to its board of directors, effective April 1, 2010. Scott was appointed to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Brian McCann from the Nexxus board.
Scott brings more than 25 years’ experience in technology and marketing to the retail, hospitality and professional-services industries. Scott, who received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Virginia Commonwealth University, is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.
