MultiCam (Dallas) is unveiling its 3000 Series waterjet-cutting system. The high-pressure machine, which cuts at up to 90,000 PSI, reportedly allows the user to cut highly accurate parts with a clean finish and no heat-impacted edges. Its features include a high-speed, digital AC servo motor, various table sizes and programming software tailored to waterjet cutters. An optional drill allows operators to pre-drill laminated material, and the abrasive feeder offers software controls that tightly regulate abrasive use when cutting titanium, stainless steel, aluminum or similar materials.
