Shareholder meetings usually entail poring over monotonous financial reports, voting on complicated issues and other necessary, but often tedious, interaction between corporate boards and stock owners. Avery Dennison decided to enliven its April shareholder congregation at its Pasadena, CA headquarters – and instill pride by featuring the company’s sign-related products in an eye-grabbing manner -- by bringing in a custom, Jesse James West Coast Chopper that’s decorated with the company’s media.

SkinzWraps (Dallas) produced the graphics using Avery Dennison Graphics & Reflective Products Div. MPI 1005 Easy Apply RS air-egress media and DOL 1360, glossy overlaminate. SkinzWraps used Adobe CS3 to perfect the design and output the graphics on an Epson America Stylus Pro GS 6000 printer with Colorburst RIP.

Tamara Baumann, the director of operations for SkinzWrap’s Los Angeles office, noted the job was labor-intensive because wrapping the chopper required covering several small, compact areas. Trevor Pockrus, SkinzWraps’ logistics coordinator, also enjoyed the challenge. He said, “Jesse’s custom bikes convey a bold message in a small space. We usually create wraps that convey messages over large spaces, so the project provided an opportunity to look at a different design approach to create a high level of excitement and style. Jesse is an amazing artist and businessman, and we’re proud to have him as a member of our Board of Advisors.”
