The International Sign Assn. (ISA), Alexandria, VA, is announcing its annual Sign Design Competition. The association has added two categories for the competition, Electronic Message Centers and Banner Signs and Vinyl Graphics. The competition now includes eight categories; the two additions join Freestanding Signs, Electric; Freestanding Signs, Nonelectric; Building Signage, Electric; Building Signage, Nonelectric; Historic Reproduction/Restored; and Wayfinding/Sign Systems.
Entries are due by Friday, February 3. The winners will be determined by online voting, which will begin February 13 and continue through 5 p.m. PT on Friday, March 9.
