HP Awards Global Imaging with Dealership of the Designjet L25500 Latex Printer

(January 2010) posted on Thu Jan 28, 2010

Only elite resellers across the U.S. are awarded the dealership.

Global Imaging was recently awarded a national dealership to carry the new Hewlett Packard Designjet L25500 latex printers. HP has awarded this dealership to only a select group of elite resellers across the U.S.
Latex technology produces no ozone emissions or HAPs, and it presents no worker health and safety concerns. Latex printers use pigmented, waterbased latex inks that boast the same print durability and display permanence as solvent. But unlike solvent inks, they emit no VOCs; thus, they’re not classified as hazardous material. Also, they’re non-flammable and non-combustible, and emit no noticeable odors. Because of the safety and environmental friendliness of these inks, users can meet new and developing environmental standards, allowing them to expand their offerings and meet their own or their customers “green initiatives.” In addition, latex cartridges are recyclable, and HP large-format media designed specifically for latex printing include a range of recyclable substrates.
Global Imaging will be showcasing the HP L25500 latex printer at the Signs By Tomorrow Annual Convention in Las Vegas, NV, February 17-18.
The L25500 printers began shipping January 4, 2010. On the same day, HP launched a “Move Up” program, which allows customers who already own an aqueous or solvent printer to receive up to $3,000 towards the purchase of their new L25500, no trade-in required. In addition Global Imaging’s partner, Global Garage, can help those customers sell their current printer to further reduce the cost of entry.
