Program pairs with company's Silhouette SD desktop-size plotter, creates vinyl signage
Graphtec America (Santa Ana, CA) is releasing its Silhouette Studio design software, which is included with the company’s Silhouette SD cutting plotters. The software is compatible with PCs (Windows XP, Vista and 7) and Macs (OSX 10.5.8 and more recent versions). Silhouette Studio enables creation of original designs via its various shape and drawing tools, and it also imports clip art and .bmp files. The company recommends Silhouette Studio for vinyl signs, decals and other graphic applications commonly produced on a desktop printer. The Silhouette SD accommodates media up to 11 in. wide and 36 in. long or more.
