GerberCAT UV™ wide-format, flatbed printer uses Cold Fire Cure technology

Gerber Scientific Products (South Windsor, CT) has announced that its GerberCAT UV™ wide-format, flatbed printer, the newest member of its Solara ion™ UV-cure, printer line, is now available in the U.S. It features Gerber’s Cold Fire Cure ™ technology that applies Gerber’s high-adhesion and scratch-resistant CAT™ (CMYK) inks on various substrates. The environmentally-friendly printer images 635 x 720 or 1058 x 720-dpi. The maximum print width is 64 in. for rigid media up to 1-in. thick, and 63 in. for flexible media.
