Fujifilm and Fujifilm Sericol USA Inc. (Kansas City, KS) have launched the Acuity X2 UV flatbed printer that prints onto substrates as large as 98.4 x 120 in. and as thick as 1.88 in. The dual-zoning system, with independent vacuum control, allows the printing of an image in one zone while setting up another image in the second zone. Additionally, a roll-to-roll module can accommodate flexible media up to 86.6 in. wide.
