Partnership yields retroreflective, microprismatic, ASTM-compliant media

FLEXcon (Spencer, MA), a pressure-sensitive-film manufacturer, is announcing its alliance with Reflexite (New Britain, CT), a producer of microprismatic, retroreflective materials. The companies’ joint effort will create pressure-sensitive, retroreflective media for trucks and trailers, school buses and overall, fleet-safety graphics for public-safety and emergency-service vehicles. The materials will integrate FLEXcon’s polymeric coating, lamination and glass-bead, reflective media with Reflexite’s polyester, flexible, microprismatic, ASTM-standard-compliant media. According to FLEXcon, it can provide standard-construction, retroreflective material on a two-to five-day turnaround.
