Two new products from 3M
FDC Graphic Films Inc. (South Bend, IN) is offering two new fasteners from 3M Commercial Graphics (St. Paul, MN). Dual Lock™ reclosable fasteners are designed to replace screws, bolts and rivets, with hundreds of mushroom-shaped stems that snap into place. The company says this rigid fastener allows for adjustment, realignment and reattachment.
3M hook and loop fasteners are designed to replace metal closures. The fasteners bond when the stiff hooks of one side mesh with pliable loops on the other, the company says. They can be used up to 5,000 times.
