Four printers bundled with RIP software
Epson America Inc. (Long Beach, CA) is expanding its Stylus Pro printer line by bundling four models with RIP software. EFI eXpress For Epson RIP software is now included in the purchase of the Epson Stylus Pro 3880, 4900, 7890 and 9890 Designer Editions. The software allows designers to create color-accurate CMYK proofs and mockups alongside RGB photographs.
Minimum operating-system requirements for the software are XP for Windows and Mac OS 10.4 for Apple (OS 10.5 is recommended). Users can also import files with DIC, HKS, Pantone and Toyo spot colors and print directly from the included software or a design application.
