EarthSmart Eclipse blockout media may be recycled into raw material

Drytac (Richmond, VA) is introducing EarthSmart™ Eclipse, a recyclable, blockout, banner material designed for UV-flatbed printers. The media comprises low-density polyethylene, and may be repurposed through commercial, plastic-recycling programs into raw materials for trash bags or landscape fabric. ASTM Intl. has certified it as biodegradable in most landfills, the company reports. Drytac offers the 15-mi, curl-free substrate in 54-, 63- and 72-in.-wide rolls.
