Clearcoat offers abrasion, scratch resistance
Drytac (Richmond, VA) is announcing InstaCure SuperFlex a UV-curable clearcoat designed for very flexible applications. The high-gloss, thermoformable media contains acrylate and UV-curable polymers that make coated prints supple. According to the company, the coating develops a tough, exterior finish that’s scratch- and abrasion-resistant and withstands washing with commercial cleaners. With the company’s new roll-to-roll, laminator attachment, shops may process the material at up to 60 linear ft./min.
