Auburn University contracts with Daktronics for first, high-definition LED videoscreen in the Southeadtern Conference
Daktronics Inc. (Brookings, SD) and the Auburn University Athletics Dept. are announcing the university will install the first, true, high-definition (HD) video display in the Southeastern Conference inside Jordan-Hare Stadium prior to the start of the 2007 football season. The 30 x 74-ft. display will incorporate high-density, full-color Pure Pixel resolution, wide viewing angles and resolution enhancement with sub-pixel control. The screen can show a single, wide-screen shot or can be split into multiple windows to show lineups, statistics and out-of-town game information.
