Two companies share joint ownership
Catalina Graphics (Calabasas Hills, CA) and GMI Materials Intl. (Calabasas Hills, CA) have been integrated under the Catalina Graphics Films name. Previously, the companies had common ownership, but were independently operated. Catalina manufactures pressure-sensitive films and serves various printing markets. GMI is a distributor of films used in digital printing. “As the digital industry continues to cross all barriers, we felt it was best to serve it as the manufacturer,” explained Jeff Dworman, Catalina’s CEO, in an email.
