Autodesk Freestyle Software
Autodesk Inc. (San Rafael, CA) has announced its AutoCAD Freestyle software created to help specialty contractors and other small shops create accurate sketches and drawings. Its toolset allows you to create standard shapes (lines, arcs, circles and rectangles), annotated drawings (dimension, text, fills) and sketches. A grid surface helps you solve spatial dimensions, such as proportion and distance. Freestyle also houses a library of commonly used symbols, or you may also insert your own. Also, you may insert images, pull drawings from a sample library, trace over a photograph or download images from the AutoCAD Freestyle community. Built on the AutoCAD platform, Freestyle also allows you to annotate AutoCAD-drawn software designs.
