The Astrup Co. (Cleveland) is offering Vivitex, Glen Raven’s line of printable fabrics. Designed for solvent-based printers, the line features five different weights and constructions for sign and banner applications.
Vivitex fabrics feature white-pigmented, inkjet-receptive coatings suitable for most solvent, eco-solvent and UV inkjet machines.
Poly Light White is a 3-oz., sheer, matte polyester with a natural woven textile look, suitable for interior and short-term exterior.
Poly Oxford White is a highly wrinkle-resistant, 8-oz., oxford-weave, polyester with a clear topcoat.
FR Banner Lite is a lightweight, fire-retardant, 4-oz woven matte polyester coated on both sides with a white-pigmented, inkjet-receptive finish. It’s suitable for indoor and short-term outdoor use.
FR Banner is a heavyweight, fire-retardant, 9.6-oz., oxford-weave polyester fabric that is coated on both sides. It’s suited for outdoor use, offering excellent color depth, a matte finish and ultrasonic slit edges.
Sunbrella Inkjet White is a 10-oz. inkjet version of Glen Raven’s solution-dyed, acrylic fabric with a natural canvas look. It is easy to cut and sew and is fray resistant.
All fabrics are available in 54- and 60-inch rolls and are woven in the United States.
