The OAAA honors excellence in outdoor advertising.

The Outdoor Advertising Assn. of America Inc. (OAAA), Washington, D.C., hosted its 61st annual OBIE Awards at a June 11 gala reception and awards dinner to recognize creative excellence in outdoor advertising.
Best of Show honors were awarded to Crispin Porter + Bogusky (Miami) for its series of MINI COOPER USA billboards from the automotive category. The OBIE Hall of Fame Award was given to McDonald's Corp. in recognition of its long-standing excellence in the use of the outdoor medium. Fourteen OBIEs were awarded, plus 33 Merit and 58 Finalist certificates.
